Liza Behrendt, a 22-year-old American Jewish Activist from Young Jewish and Proud (the youth wing of Jewish Voice for Peace), stood up and spoke out during an AIPAC Policy Conference titled “The Struggle to Secure Israel on Campus”.

The action was part of a week-end long effort to draw attention to the practice of silencing Palestinian and Jewish activist on American campuses, and furthermore to stress that AIPAC does not represent the majority of American Jews who are opposed to war with Iran and settlement expansion on the West Bank.
